City by the Bay

one of the many pleasures of San Francisco is the foggy weather, weather that encourages you to stay in with a bottle of robust California red wine and good company, or to skip work, brew a pot of dark roasted coffee and open your favorite book.  Here, high on a hill in Excelsior Heights, I took a few deep wet breaths of misty air, shot this one frame, and went inside to join Jerry for dinner.  It is such a part of my experience, this dampness that could chill you to the bone if you forget to dress in layers; it is the one thing I miss the most about my life in San Fran, particularly now that I live in a hot valley.
