James brought this to my attention- cat feet and dirt made a weird pattern on my windshield, and from a certain perspective in the right light, it appears there is a ghost driver in my car :-)
what is really weird is that the image won't load when i open this post. and, even though i copied it over from the SD card without any editing, it is no longer on my card.
