Natural Bridges State Park, one of the few in CA that isn't facing a shut down.  In addition to the natural beauty of this beach, there is a resting place for Monarch butterflies, a grove of eucalyptus trees where they rest on their way down south.  None were there when I was, so I didn't bother taking photos, but it's still a really peaceful place.

I love coastal formations like these.  They are like gateways to some unknown place, the kind of place you swim through at dusk in search of the entrance to some fairytale place, or the underworld.
